Has anyone used these LED light bar mounts for a 2nd Gen Tacoma?

    http://www.socalsupertrucks.com/200...-bar-roof-mount-bracket-kit.aspx#.U5xjg3G9LCQ

I just picked up a used 50" Rigid light bar for a smoking deal but the mounting solution has me confused.

I am considering these because I don't have to drill into the cab. I did that on my 2006 and don't want to go thru that again.

Have any other ideas for companies that make 50" mounts without drilling into the cab?

Trac performance has a no drill option. Double cabs have threaded holes stock that these mount into nicely.

Negative. I am hit or miss as in sometimes I like the look other times I don't. It's all about the build you are going for.

I just picked up a set from Trac Performance yesterday. I got the radius bar mounts. The quality is great.

Trac also will have one for the rigid rds bar here shortly.

I want to see your radius LED light bar once it's all mounted up. I haven't seen one of those in person yet.

    Just the basics
So neither of these work for Access Cabs?

Only if you drill thru the cab. Access cans don't have the pre-threaded holes double cabs have.

I ended up buying the So Cal Supertrucks 50" light bar bracket kit and I am really impressed. The brackets came powder coated, instructions were great, rubber gaskets are provided, and the hardware and washers were all stainless.

There is drilling with this kit. I wasn't aware of it when I bought it but one hole per side needs to be drilled. It was seamless since you get a template to drill based upon the other two factory roof rack holes.

It took me about two hours since I was taking my time and working by myself.

The light bar seems solid and the brackets line up perfectly.

Overall, I highly recommend this kit if you want a clean way to mount a 50" Rigid straight light bar.

Pictures coming in the next few days once I finish wiring everything.
