i have looked all over and got a mixture of reviews do you need new UCA"S for a 3'' lift or not cause im planning on putting my billies on tonight at work and need to know if i need just to go 2.5'' for now or if ok go ahead and put the 3'' on :popcorn::popcorn:http://i.twstatic.net/forum/images/smilies/extras/popcorn.gif

From what I've gathered from reading here having UCA's for over 3" will be more beneficial than not having them. Alignment will be hard to get with the factory control arms.

Not getting aftermarket UCA's with a 3" lift is generally viewed as a cut corner that you will pay for later in even tire wear and decreased gas mileage all due to your truck not staying aligned.

Personally, I've got a set of Total Chaos UCA's sitting in the garage w/ my OME kit. I got those as I plan on adding some Total Chaos LCA's at some point in the near future and wanted guaranteed compatibility between my UCA's and LCA's.

There are some "Light Racing" UCA's you can get which are mild, well-priced and will work fine for most applications. "Light Racing" is the company name, not an indication of how much racing can be done with those UCA's.
