I put a 3" leveling kit on my yota and its looking like Im getting some tire wear on the outside corner of the tire. The alignment guy had the toe dialed in as well as the camber...my caster was completely out of wack. The truck goes down the road straight with no handling issues. I know and have read that they say caster is not a factor in tire wear. is this BS?
Can I put a small amount of negative camber to help gain some caster back or do I just live with this issue unless I get UCA's...

3 inch lift. Tinted windows. Debadged.
The main thing that caster does is fix pulling issues on vehicles not tire wear problems. You can run with some negative camber to help the tires but that does not mean the caster will change. These trucks have a lot of adjustment already in the lower control arms so you can change caster with out changing your camber. How often do you rotate your tires and what kind of camber and caster numbers do you have now?

Too much positive camber. Tacoma spec allows for quite a bit for some reason. If it's on the upper end of spec, that's probably why it's wearing quickly. Have the alignment shop get it closer to 0. Unfortunately you will probably lose more caster doing that though without UCAs.

New upper control arms. Only way to do it right.
