led light swap in stock fog light location mod
hello. i found some led lights that fit in the factory fog light hole on my 08 taco. it does not require a lot of modding. the led lights are 5,100 lumen each.
    here are the the specs

    Available in spot pattern.

    Beam Type: Spot / Flood
    weight: 1 lb
    Amp draw (14V): 4.35
    LED Module: 6x10 CREE
    Lumens (LM): 5,100

if anyone interested in a set of these hit me up.
    flood or spot available
    65.00 each
    120.00 for a pair
    5.00 each for shipping
8.00 for a pair if shipped

here are some in stall pics.

this is how the light comes

the factory bottom mount needs to be cut off and ground smooth to fit in the factory fog light hole.

this is how it mounts up in the factory location. the led light has four 10/32 threaded holes on the back. i used some flat plate to secure it. miner trimming on the inside of the fog light hole. it wont be seen or prevent the factory fog light from being reinstalled. i wired them to the factory fog light switch.

Great lights though, bright as fuck. You will get high beamed if you use these as regular fog lights. They make great off-road lights when crawling though.

the lights I'm selling are 5,100 lumens each and 60 watts not 1550 lumen and 27 watts. Big difference...

Sold out of spot pattern. Flood pattern only.

As for wiring, is there a relay needed? Or you just splice them into the factory fogs?

How do these look to oncoming traffic. I used to have an HID kit for my fogs but I uninstalled them cause they blinded opposing traffic and cars I would be behind.

Yes they are. Here in SoCal we don't get too much fog.

I can't imagine how you're getting more than double the wattage and 4x the lumens when they're the exact same light, just a different brand name. That's the Chinese clones for you... always trying to pad their stats. GLWS

stupid question but aren't fogs designed to not give off so much light that if it is foggy you go blind due to refraction when you turn them on?

This. These lights and ones similar to it are best suited (and legal) for off-road use only.

This set up is for the off roader that wants bright ass lights with not a lot of modding and keeping the factory look. They are CREE 10 watt chips not epistar.
