I'm looking at leveling my 2014 double cab with the "2.5 setting on the Bilstein 5100 shocks. I had the stock tires replaced with BG Goodrich all terrains, with slight rubbing of the rear part of the front fender after removing the front mud flaps. However, I installed an AllPro steel bumper + Warn cable winch and the tires seem to be rubbing a bit more.

I'm planning on having the Bilstein 5100 shocks placed on to level the front (which currently sits at a 2" difference with the rear after the AllPro bumpers and skids were installed). Can someone give me advice if this is the correct way to go? My main concern is using the stock coils with the Bilsteins. I have read in other past forums that the potential way to go with heavier bumpers (ARB bumpers were mentioned) is to have the OME 886 coils and either have the Bilstein 5100s kept at 0" lift (since the OME 886 coil will provide the lift) or OME nitrocharger shocks. Can someone please help?

You can call me Susan if it makes you happy.
Your ride with be very stiff with preloaded 5100's and stock coils. Since you've already got a lot of weight up front I would look into the OME setup. You'll be much happier with it.

I have a Double Cab and an Apex Bumper on the way. I talked to the guys at Wheelers and YotaDan suggested I go with the 887's for my OME setup.

The 887 has the same rate as the 885 but is a longer spring, this will get you a softer ride and compensate for the inevitable sag that comes with throwing a winch and winch bumper on the front of your truck.

I also had Wheelers install extended studs on my front assembly so I have the option to add top spacers in the future, if my Winch+Bumper causes too much front rake.

The suggestion to go with 887's instead of 886's was made because my truck is both Daily Driver and Weekend Warrior.

    Edit:
I definitely suggest Wheelers as your OME vendor. They offer a ridiculous amount of support and information before and after the sale. YotaDan put up with all of my neurotic/nitpicky questions and gave me really good/informative answers via PM. The OME Kit they sell is all-inclusive; it comes with all bushings, driveline spacer, trim packer, u-bolts, Dakars; I paid 158 extra for the coilover assembly service. I ordered it from clear across the United States(Grants Pass, OR to Jacksonville, FL) and it got here 6 days after I clicked 'Check Out' on the website. They even labeled the coilovers with which side to install them on (driver side has the trim packer, pass does not)
