What is this hose?

    Anyone know what this hose is on the top of the 5VZ? It runs from the intake to a fitting on the driver side valve cover

    I thought that was for the egr valve once upon a time. Not it's just a vent.

    I was told it was the EGR too but pretty sure its not. You think its the fresh air side of the PCV system?

    Its def something along these lines. I had the same thing but it connected at a different location.

    Im putting on a new intake and wont be able to connect it. I think I can get away with a breather on the fitting but not sure. The PCV is running to a vented catch can...

    Try capping it off and see if it make a difference.:notsure:

    I dont know if I want to cap it. I think its the fresh air supply for the crank case. Old oily air out the PCV and fresh air in through this fitting... :notsure:

    Yeah man, great price on that S/C kit! You or Paul need to snatch that up quick.

    On the 4th? Probably can't do, gonna be with family... :(

    Turbo ;)

    Wouldn't want it connected anyways, it would pressurize the crank.
