I just installed a Pioneer AVIC-6000NEC head unit with NAV. I picked it up on sale from crutchfield. Did the install myself with the detailed instructions provided by Crutchfield. So far I'm really liking it. The NAV works well and is easy to use. The radio is jam packed with features and sounds great even with the stock speakers. I'll be upgrading those next. I will also be adding a back up camera at some point to make hooking up to the travel trailer a little easier. I would recommend both this head unit and Crutchfield. Check them out. Good luck

Got mine on sale for $719 from Crutchfield....price included wiring harnesses, dash kit and full install instructions. Well worth it IMHO.....I had been looking at a Kenwood dbldin without NAV. Read some bad reviews about the Kenwood decks and went with the Pioneer. Had the old Pioneer Supertuner's in my rides back in the day and always had great luck with them......

I have the Pioneer AVH-8500BHS that sells for about $400 on Amazon. With a cable that connects to your phone, you can do nav. Using google for driving directions, you will never have to worry about updating the map. Google even knows about construction zones and accidents and will route you around them. The bad part is the phone cable can cost $100 (based on phone) and while you use it, your phone screen will be on the whole time (even though it is being charged at the same time, the phone gets hot and uses some battery).

This is not an ideal choice if you need NAV all the time, but if you use about 1 time a month (like me), it is cheaper and does not require you to hide a NAV antenna or update maps.

Just go on sonic electronix to get a close up view and all the info on a decent radio. Check out the Clarions the look pretty nice and much more affordable
