    Hey all,

Thought I'd introduce myself, I just bought a NEW truck for the first time in my life, and will be looking to slowly do some upgrades over time.
I chose to get a 4 cyl, 4x4, Manuals Trans, Access Cab, Super-White Tacoma. I've gotten a little flak from friends over the 4 cyl but I actually chose that on purpose for the fuel efficiency and due to not having the need to tow anything significant. I had the option for V6/Auto-Trans, but I'm happy with my choice, I kinda feel like a teenager again driving around a 4cyl manual! non-stop grins.
I gotta say after putting 1,000 miles on it that I really like it. I've wanted a Tacoma for as long as I can remember, and it's with a sense of accomplishment that I start that thing up every day.
I put some black MB 16" wheels on it with some Pathfinder 255/70 rubber with a little more off-road tread than the stock setup.
I also got it tinted it up as dark as I legally could here in NM. So it all definitely looks a little better than stock now.
Next up, is the audio. Gotta say that while I like the touch screen...the sound quality definitely leaves me wanting. Actually how I found this forum was by researching sub-woofers and whatnot. So for now I'll be lurking around that sub-forum.
In the future...probably some performance bolt on's, some fog-lamps and better lighting. Things like that.
I don't have SERIOUS off-road aspirations for this thing, just camping, fire-road, mountain bike/ snowboard trip kinda stuff.
Anyway, happy to be here and look forward to learning from you guys, I'll snap some pics with my real cam and post those up soon.
