06 tacoma transmission shudder

Have an 06 Tacoma automatic transmission, with 106000 miles, it has always( since new) had a mild shudder when shifting at about 15 to 25 mph. It now has a severe shudder on the up shift. What can be done about this and is the transmission about to die!

 

Check the fluid. I think the oil temp is supposed to be at 130° and u should get just a drip. I had done a flush on mine years ago but did get it up to temp first and actually had too much in, it shuddered goin into 5 but i did another flush at vorrect temp. After a week or so it ran smooth as glass and has for close to a year.

 

change the fluid...

but a 15-25mph shudder could be the rear driveshaft vibration.

 

If ur a four banger disregard. Well check it i guess but that was for v6
