Ive been going back and fourth on what to do with tire choice and whether or not to add a small lift. the 245's on my truck drive me nuts more and more every day. After allot of thought ive come up with this scenario. I drive quite a bit from VA to NY so MPG and reliability is a rather big concern. Im not a huge fan of the look of 265 75 16's and i think 265 70 16's on a small lift obviously wont look too good. Im thinking of doing a aal or 1 inch block in the rear and setting billies at 1.75 in the front with a 275 70 16 tire. Ive seen two or three running this tire size without a lift and haven't heard of any complaints. So was curious if anyone else was running this combination on either stock or a lifted truck. I have a 2wd 2.7 dblcb. curious on some of your thoughts?

i didnt even know you could get a 2.7 dclb!

thats kind of an odd size of a tire.... pretty much in between a 245/75 / 265/70 and a 265/75 diameter ... you are going to find A LOT more options in a 265/75R16 and you arnt going to notice the extra 10mm wider.

If you are concerned about MPG and a 2.7 DCLB being able to get out of its own way... stick with the light 245/75's
