    yea , we know snow!
    the bfg at's are a good snow tire, never had any problems with them. I like them because you can run them year round. you could get a dedicated snow tire that may give you a little better traction, but usually only cars get them. the weight in the back is good, i like kitty litter, usually cheaper and more gritty for traction, usually dont carry it though.
    something else to get - a stuck over night kit. we have had a couple occasions where it snowed so quick that the streets get jammed up with stuck cars. you may not be stuck , but when the traffic stops, your going no where. a blanket, flashlight, tin can& candle (heat and light), energy bars, phone charger, toliet paper. Did i mentions never go below a 1/2 tank of gas? other wise the summers are wonderful up here.

    Yeah I lived off post out in Ogdensburg I drove all over.... Had a blast in my TJ I miss it... somtimes!
