4 weights on one side of wheel?

Is putting 4 weights on one side of a BFG Rugged Trail stock size tire normal? I'm wondering if I got a defective tire and Tire Kingdom is trying to balance it instead of replacing it. I have a slight vibration after they "balanced" it twice. The vibration only happens occasionally on the highway. Any suggestions?

 

our wheels need to be road force balanced. do you know if they balanced them that way?

 

They don't NEED to be. If the tire place has the correct adapter for the rim they can be balanced off the truck. (FWIW-I Balanced my own wheels with non stock rubber on a conventional machine with static weighting)

They can balance a tire with all the weight on the inside (static). I do it becuase I don't want them messing up the paint on the front of the rim and I don't want nasty looking weights on the lip.

If you've still got a vibration tho...Check alignment, check the condition of the tires, and have them keep balancing until it's gone imo.

 

How do you road force balance? They just tried again to balance them. We'll see tomorrow if they failed again.
