2012 taco halo projector retrofit build

    So taking on a new project of retrofitting my 2012 tacoma double cab pre runner with projectors orical color shift halo blacked out with 6000k hid i will be posting my progress here so if anyone has any helpful tricks or anything feel free because this will be my first attempt at retrofitting headlights... Heres what ive got for the build excluding paint for the blackout effect

    Gatling Gun 2.0 Square
    Shrouds

    The NSSC© D2 35w 6000k Crystal White Xenon HID Conversion Kit

    BI-xenon: Morimoto Mini D2S 3.0 x lens (square projector)

    2005-2013 Toyota Tacoma ColorSHIFT Oracle Halo Headlight Rings

    All parts are in ill be working this week but all week off for the 4th so will do the build then and advice would be appreciated

    So started the build almost flawlessly got the headlight lenses off by baking then at 250 degrees for 5 min then disassembled the inside of the light for painting and installed the projectors and halo ring along with a little grinding on the back of the headlight to allow the projector nut plate to be able to tighten down

    Had to install without the lock ring on the back of the projector bc it made the projector not level as u can see in the picture so this is them after i leveled then both

    Not really this is the kit from oracle lighting for a 2012 tacoma and i installed it in front of the housing between the lens or else most of the ring would have been behind the housing and only shown the sides of the ring i was able to glue it in place with some aircraft instant cement called AC5 with activator and it seems to hold pretty damn well i tried pulling it off with a good bit of force and no movement on the ring

    Yea luckily i bought the truck with 15k miles and the rims were already on it but yes they change the look of the whole truck just glad i didn't have to pay for then bc I'm sure they weren't cheap

    My only tip is to buy the halos from me next time but nice build be careful using adhesives on oracle products if you get it on the resistors the leds will go out.

    Yea wish i would have ordered from u had to send back the passenger side twice bc they didn't work when i bench tested them right out of the box
