Always loved the HID lights look, but i had to put them in to law standards or as close as possible!! loved the BMW "angle eyes" too and some how i would like to get that in them to!

    BUT!

I have a tacoma and love the F... truck with passion, so with that said I definitely wanted to keep it looking some what stock.

So i found what i was looking for on line and placed a order for a pair of "05-11 TOYOTA TACOMA DUAL HALO PROJECTOR HEADLIGHTS +DAYTIME LED RUNNING LIGHTS w/ HID 6000K KIT" witch is what i decided that was as high as i wanted to go.

After a few weeks gone by a walk in the door to find a big box, needless to say i was like a kid on christmas, lol, had to crack that thing open ASAP! lol

Here are some pictures on that....

Had to get this on the truck, it looked "bad ass" to me when i got it out of the box, couldn't evan sleep good from the excitement or from being nerves if this was going to look good or not, I think it ended up looking fantastic but i'll let you guys look for yourself and decide if this is the look you would like to see on your Tacoma

Those look slick. Do they seem to be high quality lights?

I was surprised myself to see how much light came out of the 6000 K, I wasn't expecting for these HID bulbs to go long since it was a no name brand package but they have been going strong and very well, i am very happy with the hole package

If I were you, I would run a bead of silicone around the seals on the lights. Aftermarket lights are notorious for poor sealant and getting moisture inside the light, which is then a PITA to clean out.

I have the same lights, great quality and great output..

    But.. they leaked

I just took them out and ran silicone around them so Ill see if that fixes it.

also : If you have a compressor the condensation is super easy to get out.

Thanks for the heads up on the bead of silicone around the bezel! I will be sure to pull pull them off and redo that before they go out, better safe than sorry I guess!

Can you tell me if they are SAE (or other) approved?

our HID cheap kits in stock housing will be illegal very soon (plus I have a ton of problems with mine after 5 years of using them)... so I'm thinking of putting projector HIDs... but they need to be road legals.

    Thanks

I got those headlights and put in a 55w ballast 6000k bulb and it's super bright. I had the 35w ballast 6000k bulb and it was dim. I moved the 35w kit to the high beam and it's still not as bright as the 55w kit in the hid projector.
