    I have a 2001 4x4 205,000k miles.
Lately I've been having a noise that sounds like a tire out of balance. I rebalanced and rotated, noise is still there.
It gets worse at higher speeds, and gets worse when I swerve to the right. Gets better when I swerve to the left.
So I just replaced the left spindle and bearing. Bearing definitely did not spin as freely as the replacement from the junk yard.
Took it for a drive and the noise still is there. A little different but same symptoms.
Im wondering if it could be the CV axle, maybe? The boots are still good, and there is no clicking or popping.
Anything else I should look into? I appreciate the help.

Do you feel any vibrations in your foot or the steering wheel? Or does it seem to be more just sound?

More just sound then anything. If any vibration its in the steering wheel, definitely not the foot.
Every step I have taken to resolve this problem I have gotten closer. After I rebalanced, vibration went away. After I did the wheel bearing, some of the noise went away.

Before I drive it today Im going to swap a rear tire for that front left one. Maybe by chance its still the tire... TBD

Rotated the tires again with no change. Replaced CV axle with no change.... I am at a loss of what to do now. The only other thing I can think of is the UCA bushing. I put some Poly bushings in a while ago. Did not like how they fit in there. Any thoughts?Oh and I lost about 100 cc of fluid out of the transfer case when doing the CV. Should I top it off? Or was it o full? Thanks.

    Poly-bushings -

In July 2013 I replaced my sway bar mount bushings with ones from Energy Suspension. Truck had about 70,000 miles on the clock. Then I went on my usual jaunt to the mountains northeast of Ely, NV. On a little-used two-track I broke my right sway bar link.

I ordered and installed a left and a right link made by Raybestos, the "Professional" grade. Didn't get out again until about 3 weeks ago. The truck now had 72,000 miles on it. Again, went to my favorite getaway northeast of Ely and even with some very careful driving, broke the LEFT sway bar link. Called the vendor who sent me another under warranty.

Hmmm. 70k without a problem. Installed Energy Suspension poly bushings. Broke both sway bar links. So I reinstalled the original factory rubber bushings and hopefully I solved the problem. No, I didn't notice a bit of difference in the ride between the Raybestos and the factory bushings.

So much for poly-bushings for this puppy. My advice is if you drive a Tacoma, get factory replacement parts and forget all this after-market "better-than-OEM" parts.
