Looking for some mods that'll increase my low end without putting a big dent in my wallet.
    Suggestions?

Welcome to TW! Best gain for under a hundred bucks, is the Deck plate mod. Better gains than an aftermarket "CAI", and an easy Do It Yourself project. Use the rest of the money on gas.

Even then..Deckplate doesnt help THAT much.

It's not related to power/torque but if you're planing on upgrading lights/winch/sound system eventually you could do the CS144 alternator swap. You can get the alt from a pick and pull or ebay for about $50.

I'm guessing it makes for a cooler air charge. Kind of like people putting different thermostats in their engine. It makes the computer think the engine is still in warm up so it runs a richer mix. HP increase will be negligible, fuel cost increase will be noticeable.

$100, I'd say is better spent on 2-3 tanks of gas.

Whoa! Wish I could get 2-3 tanks with $100. I'm lucky to get one and a bottle of coke.

The throttle body has a coolant line running through it. I assume he is talking about bypassing that.
