I'm finally getting around to having my suspension I ordered from Sarah over at Boss4x4 installed (TJM Shocks/Struts, OME coils, Dakar leafs)!

I was looking around for recommendations from folks and got a few folks/shops. I finally decided on having Desert Rat install it for me simply due to my travel schedules but couldn't decide which location since I live up in Peoria but work in Chandler, but have my GF in Ahwatukee. I ended up calling the Peoria, Mesa and Tempe locations to get prices and availability dates.

Good lesson learned here, shop around even if you're calling the same franchise!

I first called the Peoria store and the guy who answered the phone didn't really know what I was wanting to or know the products. He ended up shooting me a quote of 500 for the install and 90 for the alignment.

I then called the Mesa store and spoke to Thomas and he knew exactly what I was wanting to do and the parts I had etc.. Got a quote of 350-360 for the install and 90 for the alignment. Smoking deal! Not quite sure why his price was so much lower, but I had him double check it again to be sure.

I then realized there was a Tempe store that is less than 4 miles from my GFs house, I called there and they too fully understood what I wanted done but they quoted me 300 on the install and 90 for the alignment. Again had him confirm again to make sure the quote was correct. Even better deal!

The Mesa store could have gotten me in tomorrow but I'll wait till Monday to save myself $60 and a further drive.

Not sure why there was a $200 spread between stores but I'm happy that I called around to the different stores... More lappies for me!

Hoping that that Desert Rat's quotes hold up after the job is done and that they do an awesome job!

I was thinking about asking for help on a mod day, but holy hell its hot out there.. I was in the garage digging around for some gun parts and damn near passed out from the heat :).

And for those of you who are bummed out, not to worry, I still have a few other projects (CBI front receiver, TJM Air Locker, OBA, ect.) that I'm sure I'll be asking questions about or maybe roll into a mod day.. :)

Just completed the install today. Minus the additional cost for a pair of top strut mounts and minor shop fees, the job was completed for the price quoted. Fast and easy, dealt with Brett over at the Tempe shop.
