Let me start off by saying that my entire family has Toyotas. Corollas, camrys, highlander, sienna and of course Tacomas. All have been great throughout the years except the 2012 Camry and 2011 Sienna. Today my mom took her Sienna in for the second time this month, and agin shes stuck with a $600 repair charge for cosmetic stuff not covered in the extended warranty. The camry is the same story.... cosmetic plastics keep falling off and need to be replaced. It seems to me that these newer vehicles lack the good quality Toyota was known for. The engine reliability is stellar, its just these little nuisance cosmetics that break or fall off very easily and Toyota says they need to be replaced. Todays Sienna verdict is the weather stripping to the back door has come undone and is leaking water. The van is not even 3 years old yet with barely 40k miles.... why would stuff like that be coming undone. Has anyone else experienced things like that happening or did we get stuck with 2 bad vehicles. My mom is getting ready to trade it in for fear something worse is going to happen. Has Toyota lost its way??

Every now and then you're gonna get a bad one of the batch...

I've had a 2005 Corolla, 2009 Tacoma, 2012 Tundra, and now on my 2014 (and last I hope) Tundra...no issues cosmetic or engine wise with any.
