Hi Guys- I've been lurking around a for a little bit and finally decided to introduce myself. I recently bought a 2003 Access Cab that I'm completely in love with. I'm completely new to truck ownership, so I'm starting at ground zero for knowledge.

Right now its completely stock aside from the tires (BF Goodrich All Terrain), and though I have a couple things in mind, I'd love suggestions for what to do first. I don't commute in it, so its purpose is completely for driving me up into the woods for mountain biking, climbing and camping. This past weekend we took it on some forest roads outside of Breckenridge. It did great, but we ran into some guys on quads who recommended that we turn back as the road we were on got a lot rougher.

The only issue I'm having so far is that the topper leaks at the corners. Recommendations of how to get that stopped would be appreciated. Weather seal?

Here's a couple of pictures of the truck (her name's Anita), on the day I bought her and on our most recent trip. Thanks all!

Hi and welcome to the forum.
As for mods did you take a look at the grey wire mod. Cheap as can be but amazing for offroading.
Basically it let's you use your locker in 2wd instead of having to use it in 4lo

    Thanks for the welcome guys.

The grey wire mod looks a little beyond me at this point, but I've bookmarked it for future reference.

Looking forward to joining in on some future trips that can be done stock. Also looking forward to learning more. I'd like to add a little lift and some after market bumpers. All in good time, haha.
