    True.
But...I've got a "BBQ Grillware" 4-burner that's 5 years old, and it has lived outside on my deck uncovered the entire time I've had it. Everything on it still works, and it cost me $170 when I bought it. I replaced the heat diffuser thingies last spring because they were rusty, but other than propane that's the only thing I've had to buy for it. And since I replaced the stock mild steel diffusers with stainless ones, I probably won't have to replace them again.

    Ouch.
What happened to the old one?

    Edit: there you go.
Buy the Brinkman grill, and use the $ you save to buy a new BMW wheel!

    lol.
    FINE!
You should buy the Weber, they're the best. It'll last forever and never need more propane and cook everything to magical perfection whilst gently massaging your ego with the knowledge that you bought the best of the best of the best. Centaurs will dance in the yard and serenade you with their panpipes while wood nymphs will alight on your deck and sprinkle daisies upon your head. Amber Heard, Scarlett Johansson, and Megan Fox will show up at your door asking you to cook for them, and will applaud your incredible manliness as you flame-sear steaks for them. Your neighbors will all crumble at your pure masculinity, and their wives will all leave them and congregate around you like moths around a light. Attractive women will be drawn to your house uncontrollably, and be struck by the irresistible urge to disrobe and attempt to seduce you.

Or you'll burn your first steak.

Tough to lay the odds either way.

I finally got another charcoal grill this past Thursday. We've cooked on it every night since :D
I'm going to start making my own charcoal, though. Don't like Kingsford briquettes (the balogna of charcoal), and don't like paying what they charge for good quality lump charcoal.

I've found that some grocery store have lump charcoal for a reasonable price. My favorite is El Diablo mesquite charcoal.

Yeah, around here the grocery stores mostly just have the Kingsford Briquettes. You can get lump charcoal at Home Depot or Lowes this time of year, but they don't keep it in stock during the winter, just the briquettes. This is the stuff that I like to use, but the closest place that carries it is 30 minutes away.

Besides, making your own isn't difficult. I just need to get a 55-gallon steel drum w/a resealable top, and every time we do a bonfire I can make a 55 gallon batch of oak and maple lump charcoal. Plus that way I'll be able to control the lump size.

Friendzoning in a gender equal fashion...

X2. I support this plan. Lauren's a girl, so she must know what'll work.
