2005 DC TRD-Off Road, Squeak noise seems to come from somewhere inside passenger side dash when hitting bumps. Also a rattle sound sometimes accompanies it. Ive looked under the dash and cant seem to fix it. Ive also looked at the hood hinge on that side. It seems to squeak, so I lubed it up. Still squeeks. Anyone else have this sound issue? Thanks.

My 2013 rattles some on that side and I have found it to be the glove box. Also the suspension squeaks sometimes.

After more investigation, I became convinced that the hood hinge was the culprit. I sprayed it heavily with WD-40, and magically, no more squeek. However, the hinge pin is loose, allowing too much play. As a result, when I hit bumps, the hood moves more than it should, which was causing the squeak, and Im guessing thats whats causing the rattle as well. I plan on replacing the hinge, so we will see if that fixes things.
