OK, I see posts for the 08s and the 2012s, but will these work on a 2013 SR5 with factory fogs? Really want to run just fogs and my front trail lights in some spots that I offroad on are.... "private"... lol :p

The mod I did work on my 2013 TRD Sport. So the answer is yes. Here's the method I used.

Pick your fancy, just be careful. I found out those relay prongs snap off easier than you'd think they would.

All versions of the fog light mod should work for your truck. In my case, I had unused relay sockets(with wires) in the same relay box as the fog light relay. I was able to find a wire on each of the unused relay sockets that had +12V on it when the ignition was on. I swapped one of these wires with the one that normally supplies the coil of the fog light relay with +12v. No add-on fuse was needed as this only supplies power to the coil of the relay and the wire is part the harness which is already fused. The fog light switch is still used to turn the fog light on and off as this switches the -12v going to the relay coil.

For me this was the easiest and cleanest way to do this mod. A few others with '12s and '13s have done it this way too.

I did the jumper for the trailer light relay over to the fog light relay so that they only turn on with the parking lights, low beams, and high beams. I didn't want to go to the ignition circuit because I would always forget to shut off the fog lights during the day.

To clarify, the "ignition" circuit that was referenced is only on when the keys are in the ignition switch and it is turned to the "run" position. Therefore, it would not be possible to leave the fog lights on all day unless the keys were left in the truck with the ignition on causing even more of a drain on the battery.

    Easy huh?

Just out of curiosity, which way did you end up doing it?

Had to run a wire from side box to main, put in a 10amp fuse just in case.

Hey I've got a 2014 and just did this mod and my DTRL wont work until I switch to the night mode. (the next setting after DTRL) I went from the relay in the sub box to the light green wire in the main. What did I do wrong?
