Has anyone here know much about rehab facilities?

Like a lot of previous posters have said, it all depends on the committment of the addict. I worked in the mental health field as well as the Department of Corrections so I've seen the revolving door effect of a lot of these programs. I agree that aftercare is one of the most important issues. Most of these folks go right back into the neighborhoods they were in before rehab and hang around with the same people they hung out with when using. Therefore, their success rate is very low. Hope your relative is one of the lucky ones who takes the program seriously and makes a positive change in his life.
