My previous vehicle, a '00 4Runner, had window switches with auto up and down (ie can push them past a point to roll all the way down without having to hold them) on both front sides.

My '05 Tacoma only has drivers side and only down. Can I replace the switches with 4 fully auto up/down switches, or is that functionality due to more than just the switch?

    Thanks!

    It's both...

The switch lets on board for the auto button is a bit longer than the rest.
I too had my old Lexus have auto up or down...but I got used to just holding the buttons

It is possible in a way...need to add a module like when adding an alarm for auto window down. Same concept just wired to the already stock buttons and it won't say it on the door you would just know

Don't believe the switch alone will do it.

I miss the Auto Up feature too. I drive a Camry during the day and I catch myself expecting the window to go up when I drive the Tacoma. This has been a thought in my head for a while, I guess this thread answers my question.
