alright im getting my list all setup to purchase some new tires and wheels for winter/off roading. so im curious what all of you put on your truck for these situations. i also hate the generic work for everything wheels.

tire sizes im looking at are: FireStone Destination MTs 31X10.50R15LT or LT265/75R16

what would you guys go with ? the ones in standard size are $34 cheaper than the ones in metric.

not sure a 15" wheel will fit our trucks...and only select few 16" will clear the caliper.

Yeah...15 won't do the trick. 16's you gotta make sure you pick the right one with the right Backspace (4.5 inches or less with an offset between 0 and -12)

How cheap is "cheap" Wheelers sells some steel rims for like 60-80 bones: I've found some Mojave Teflons from about 125-150...I'll have to find the link later.

No 15" for 4x4 or Prerunners.

Not sure they sell them anymore, but tirerack.com used to sell 16x7 black steelies for $30-35 years back (what I have for winter). Not TPMS compatible.

They might come up if you 'say' your truck is 2005 (ie no TPMS) online, or call them.

I have some stock steel wheels OEM that I will sell. They are 16 in, 6 hole.
Took them off of the truck with 300 miles on them. caps and lugnuts come with them.
