4x4's the way to go. loose the chrome though. If you haven't heard of plasti-dip, it's awesome. or you can pick up some color match stuff pretty cheap as well. Welcome to TW!

 

I am definitely losing the chrome. If anyone interested in trading for theChrome Grill and Bumper let me know. Either going to paint these or trade forMGM ones.

 

Updated wants and future mods. Need some opinions.

 

I'm in a similar boat as you wanting to run an 18" wheel. Having done extensive research in the wheel department, have you looked at the local vendors SCS (Stealth Custom Series) and FN? I switched from XD Cranks and now have the FN BFDs as my front runner. Also looking at running an A/T in 275/70-18 instead of a mud terrain. I spend too much time on the highway...I don't want to listen to the howling of M/Ts. Anyway, my $.02...

 

It has taken me a little bit to start posting the updates. Sorry about that.

First update I made was the bed mat. At first I was not sold on it but seriously one of the best purchases that I have made. Highly recommend it.


Second, color matched the grille surround.


Then I Plasti Dipped all the emblems.



My buddy liked the results so much we plasti dipped his c7 emblems.

 

Installed BAKFlip G2 bedcover along with smoked tail lights and clear third brake light.

 

Today is like the night before Christmas. Dropped my baby off today and tomorrow my lift, tint, wheels and tires will be installed. Can't wait.

Plus, I received my custom decals from CBoy808 in the mail last week. I will be putting them on this week as well.

 

Today the lift and new wheels and tires were added. Looks great if I do say so myself.

Pretty much a 3" lift. Having some trouble with rubbing but not too much. Dealing with squeaking right now. Not sure what from.
