I went with a 2" AAL and Billy 5100s in the back. I don't use my truck for work much anymore. Just carrying a spare 35, mountain bikes, odd material for side jobs I've noticed the rear already beginning to sag. The air bags should help with the extra weight you put in the back

    Subbed for build and journey.

GF and I are planning on exploring the Ouray/Telluride area next August.
Richmond -> Telluride -> Richmond in about 9 days with 3-4 days to explore.

ckeene9 have you put any thought into the route you're going to take? Straight shot so you can spend the most time in that area or other stops along the way too?

Straight shot, ric to St. Louis to Colorado Springs to Telluride and then right back. Have a limited time frame and want to spend as much time in the area as I can.

Gotcha. We still don't have a set game plan yet, but the more I research, the more I'm leaning towards making a b-line like you straight out there and spending as much time as I can exploring the state. Maybe even by the time you head out that way, we'll be settled in and more familiar with the trail system to get together a group trip if you're up for it.

Nothing really interests me in the flatlands. Spent the first 9 years of my life in Ohio, I've seen corn, wheat, and soybeans.

    275/70r17 Goodyear MTR with Kevlar

Heading to a buddy's shop to get them mounted and balanced Tuesday or Wednesday. I'm also going to do a much needed alignment while I'm there.

Tires mounted up and headed in for an alignment.

Side note - I never would have imagined it would be so hard to track down the correct lug nuts to get these SR5 wheels mounted. No luck at the local dealer, so I had to make stops at 5 different parts stores around town to find 24.

Firestone Ride Rite airbags on the way to help handle the added weight in the rear.

Update: Some changes with work postponed our trip, but we're now back on track and set to leave the last week in July. I've sold the shell and am in the process of building a rack for the Tepui Autana roof top tent that just came in today. Pics soon to come...
