Hello! After many many years I can now call myself a 2014 Tacoma TRD Off Road Owner. I've very excited and in love with this truck! Hopefully will learn a lot from this site.

So I guess my first question for everyone out there is: What are some of the first things you did to your truck? First 2 things off the bat I'm considering are the Predator bars and the Clear Paint Protectant.

Again, very happy to be here!

    Welcome to Tacomaworld!

First things done all depend on the individual. Personally the first mod I made was getting a lift and some tires.

Welcome to TW! What will you use the truck for? That determines what mods one would consider. So a good place to ask questions for you would be 2nd gen discussion forum. GL:D

Hey congrats on the truck, you should throw up some pics! My suggestions for mods:

Ultragauge-little device that lets you see instantaneous MPG, average MPG, hp, torque, time til empty, miles til empty, tranny temp, and a million other things (I just like it for range/mileage data). If you look in the group buy section of this forum you might be able to score a deal otherwise they're about 80 bucks and just plug into the OBDII port under the steering wheel, simple and easy. Some people suggest something called the Scangauge, but I think the UG looks a lot nicer (like a mini gps) and is cheaper too.

Weathertech Floor Liners-I didn't want to wreck the carpet in my truck so I got a set of these. Don't mess around with other mats, just get the weathertechs (thats all that really gets recommended on this site so I eventually took the hint :) )
