    Hello again folks,

    UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I visited my neighborhood Allstate office & this is what I have as of today:

    Allstate
    Bodily Injury/Liability:::::: $50,000/$100,000
    vs
    State Farm::::::::::::::::: $25,000/$50,000

    Allstate
    Property Damage Liability: $100,000
    vs
    State Farm::::::::::::::::: $50,000

    Allstate
    Uninsured/Underinsured::: $25,000/$50,000
    vs
    State Farm::::::::::::::::: same/same

    I have FULL COVERAGE of course!

    Allstate::::: $591 a month
    State Farm: $921 a month
    SAVINGS::: $330 a month

    AND: In May of 2014 my rates will lower some due to my accident being 3 years old by then. In May of 2016 the accident penalty will be gone!

    :bananadance:

    THANKS FOR THE RECOMMENDATION AWorthyOpponent! I was going to jump ship for sure but didn't consider Allstate at first.

    Only complaint was that I didn't meet this guy:

    JK!!

    BTW,
    coffeesnob, I didn't know about credit ratings affecting your insurance rates. Not that it was the case with me. My wife & I have a credit rating of over 800 each but thats good to know. One more incentive to NOT mess up your credit.

    Thanks!
    :D

    Around $78 a month for my 2013 Tacoma. This is with a G37 and a bunch of other stuff through Statefarm. I pay monthly so it's around $304.00 monthly for life insurance (two people), renter's insurance, car insurance).

    $550 for 6 months.

    I am 25 years old, 1 point for a traffic violation.

    Full coverage:

    100/300/100 includes comprehensive and collision as well as uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage.

    $5000 medical coverage

    $500 deductibles for collision and comp.
    $0 deductible for uninsured motorists

    Including towing reimbursement and rental car coverage and roadside assistance.

    $5000 in accessory coverage (wheels, stereo, lighting, etc)

    Once my point drops off this year and the rate reduction for being over 25, it should go down to about $450 for 6 months.

    This is from Ameriprise.

    I just got my renewal, $765 for the whole year full coverage from liberty mutual, 2010 tacoma.

    Liability
    Bodily Injury $100k each person $300k each accident
    Property Damage $100k each accident
    Uninsured Motorist
    Uninsured Motorist $100k each person
    Bolidy Injury $300k each accident
    property damage $3,500 each accident

    Collision deductible $500
    Comprehensive deductible $500

    my old altima costs $218 for a year for liability only, same liability coverage as the tacoma.

    when comparing, make sure to look at coverage and don't just compare the premium.
    lower premiums may just be based on absolute minimum required coverage.

    36 years old, no tickets, no accidents. $1600 a year full coverage umbrella. That's including a 2013 Subaru Outback (wife's car)

    My agent Lib Mutual said these trucks are costly to insure, almost as much as a Corvette. Truthfully I got a PreRunner mostly because 4WD would have raised my premium even more. Since I have no care in the world to wheel or tear/up my daily driver on a trail, I can't justify paying the small fortune in insurance increase, to wheel once or twice a year in my truck.

    I pay about $750 per year for the Tacoma. My policy is through Liberty Mutual, my coverage is in the middle range (not the highest amounts available). My policy includes uninsured motorist and roadside assistance. Other factors:
    age 45
    Sacramento, CA area
    multi-vehicle discount (1995 Corvette, cost about $350 per year to insure at the same levels, about $1100 for both/year)
    group policy discount (through my employer)
    $1000 deductible
    clean driving record
    both vehicles garaged at night
    10k miles per year estimated Tacoma/5k per year Corvette

    One thing I have found regarding ins premiums, all of the companies advertise the lowest rates, or that they will be lower than brand X, Y & Z. But then you call, and it seems the pull their numbers out of the air.

    My wife & I drive two of the most boring, slowest vehicles on the market (Me) 159hp Tacoma PreRunner *Slow as mollasses* and (Wife) 170hp, CVT Outback and we are paying insurance like we own a Vette and a Porsche.
