you can hit your hand sideways on the window to create friction and It will pop the window open had to do it once then used a stick to unlock the doors

My Tacoma won't let me unlock my doors even with a wedge in the door. Even if you hit unlock two times..it still will not unlock. And trying to get anything into the door handle is a real bitch. I ended up going thru the back window, lol, but even then, I had the child locks on and had to use a small bow rake to reach the front.door handles...the 2nd time, I broke the back window in my truck! Luckily I have a canopy on it!

I never understood the “go through the rear window” method. How tiny are you?

    If I tried it it’d be a failed reverse-birth.

Justed had success breaking in through the back sliding window without damage. Tried the wedges + long arm trick but for some unnatural reason, the unlock button wouldn't function on both doors. The lock would function but not the unlock. Going to the back window, I tried credit card, metal flashing and part of a shampoo bottle to unlatch that clip. Nothing worked and my nightshift was getting closer so I decided it was time to break the window. I grabbed a flat pry-bar, wedged it in where the clip is and started prying. With increasing force and hammer fisting the window inwards, I managed to get the clip unlatched and grabbed my keys from the back seat. I recommend using this as a last resort because I fully expected the glass to break but lucked out. I hope all have the same good fortune. Good luck!

Yep, locked myself out more than once. Locking latch on my slider window broke and made it easier to get in...especially if I was fishing and used my rod to fish my keys out.
Now I always keep a key hidden under the truck with black tape covering it so it's not easy for someone to look for.
