my search for this lead me here. i developed this rattle and thought nah cant be anything since truck is a 2010. well today i rode over a road under construction and the rattle was way bad. i looked under the hood when i got home and there the steering column is connected i seen a rubber bushing, it apparently slipped down outta the housing that goes into the firewall. looks like a trip to the dealer for me. i printed the tsb and will leave it on my seat so they can see it and know i know .

    I just had this done.

It does feels better on the Highway:

i.e. it does feel more direct and accurate with less tendency to wander, especially over bumps or an uneven surface on the Highway.

BUT now I have a "rubbing" feeling through the steering wheel, it feels like it's coming from the motor?
