2014 DCLB: The stock side view mirrors let me see either side of the 7'-wide trailer OK, but I really do not like not knowing what is behind me.
    .
I would like to get an after market rear view camera to mount in the trailer, but run the signal to the existing Entune screen.
    .
I was thinking I could put a selector switch in the lower console which would allow me to select which input I wanted on the monitor: either the standard, reverse activated backup camera or the new, always on trailer camera, whichbwould be powered by 12v from within the trailer.
    .
Is anyone familiar with the stock camera wiring and might point me in the direction to make this happen?
    .
    Thanks, --Larry

I figure there has to be at least one electronic wizard who understands the Entine head and how to connect a second, switchable video input. TIA!

I think wireless cameras are available for vehicles.

I'd place the monitor on the dash with a pad and put it away when done.
