Hello to all. New member here, hailing from seacoast New Hampshire.
After quite some deliberation, went out and bought myself a '14 Tacoma access cab; 4wd, SR5 pkg, tow pkg, the usual bells & whistles. Traded in my '11 Chev Colorado-4wd. Although the Chev was a nice little truck, it was horribly underpowered with the 2.9 four banger it came with.
I've been very disappoined in the full size trucks lately. Too big, too heavy, and like driving a tank. Decent smaller trucks are hard to find. All the dealers seem to want to sell us these monstrous arks. I have no use myself for 6000 lbs of oversize truck.
Anyway, I hope the bank & I will be happy with it.
Personal data: ex Marine, am presently retired. Although I seem to have more free time now, there isn't any more money. Funny how that works. Hope to learn a lot here, and make some new friends. Take care.
