2.5 inch Leveling kit in front, 4x4 foot Smittybilt Defender roof rack sitting on custom built bed rack, Trail Gear Stinger bumper for first gen 4runner with adapter bracket, 2 inch shackle kit on rear leafs, Smittybilt 10,000 pound winch, Two 7" HID spots mounted on custom light brackets under stinger, Train Horn, 35x12.5x15 Cooper MTPs , Various LED Pods and 42 inch light bar.
So I recently went camping and off-roading with some freinds. I also decided to bring my girlfriend along... after unpacking everything we decided to leave the camp in our cars and go to the river, all is well. On the way back however my girlfriend says she wants to drive... So I let her thinking she could handle the easy mountain dirt road... But I had it in H2 and I specifically told her to go no faster than 30mph... which she didn't do AT ALL she hit a fairly sharp bend at 40mph fishtailed lost control and crashed my truck luckily into the upward part of the hill instead off off the cliff!!! But now the front of my skid plate has a hole in the top left of it. And the impact bar or bumper(the metal bar behind the plastic bumper) is bent and also has been compressed all the way back into the frame... or whereever it goes all the bolts are visible just some are impossible to reach without any cutting of the metal. The frame is also a little bent where the stock tow hook is bolted in under the bumber bar so basically i need to know how screwed I am right now or if this is a simple fix because I already have replacement parts off my friends 03 so what are your suggestions???? btw that is all the damage besides the middle section of the plastic bumper and also the airbags didn't go off and everyone was ok my girlfriend only had one bruise on her arm but still i need some help on what to do??

Cut it all off and get ready for armor. Sucks about the truck but a huge win on a 40 mph crash and no injury minus a bruise. We can rebuild the truck. And technically rebuild you two. But who wants to do all that. But like medic said cut off the front bumper and the crash bar and let's see how bad the frame is bent. May not even be that bad and you can get some armor on it and sleep easy.

^^^^^^yup, get everything out of the way. If it absoloutely has to he cut, then cut. You won't know how bad it is until the front is taken apart.

Sounds like Newlife is right on the ball with this one. I crashed my truck into a snow bank at 40mph and flipped the truck on it's side but I only sustained dents to the side of the truck as well as having my driverside mirror torn off but no damage to anything else.
