    Might being the keyword.

It seems Ford has extended the warranty on throttle bodies on certain vehicles to 10 years or 150,000 miles. I had to have the throttle body replaced on my wife's 2010 Ford Fusion last year to the tune of ~$700.

They issued a Customer Satisfaction Program in January but I was never notified of it. I was however notified that her car is part of the newest CSP that requires us to bring the car in for reprogramming to limit throttle body issues.

Under the January CSP they were offering refunds for folks that had already replaced their throttle body. Gonna have to dig out my receipt and see if I can get a refund.

The $700 was because they said when the throttle body went bad it fouled the plugs and dumped carbon throughout the system requiring a full system cleaning....Yeah I know it was BS now.

I did finally get a check for $450 for the throttle body and associated labor....They refused to refund the money for the new plugs and system cleaning.
