finally got out to a place in VA that i've been meaning to check out for a while --- the cove in gore, va. only about an hour and a half from DC. i was by myself so i didn't do any of the harder stuff but there is plenty of much more technical trails out there to play on... would be a lot of fun for a group. i know a lot of Jeep groups go here and help maintain the trails...

yeah... everything i went on could be done with little risk of being stuck/no spotter.... but i did several 3pt turns on trails when i got to the harder stuff, other trails i bypassed completely... had work on monday i needed to get to :)

i'll be going back in august with some friends (who don't wheel) primarily for camping... the camping/lakes/beach/gun range/hiking/rock climbing alone is reason enough to go here regardless of off roading/trail status
