What are you planning to do with the truck? If it's just for the streets, then 26 is fine.

for a standard 3+1 leaf pack you are going to need a 14-14.5in collapsed lenght MAX otherwise you will bottom out the shock before the bumpstop hits the frame which is not good.

If you put in an AAL you can extend the collapsed lenght by the thickness of the AAL (3/8ths of an inch or so).

If you go with a whole new spring pack the collapsed length needs to be 14-14.5in plus or minus the difference in thickness of the new pack (more than likely thicker so collapsed length can be extended)

Needless to say, option 1 is not going to work at all unless you really extend the bumpstops (which defeats the purpose) or have a super thick spring pack or a block (bad)

Option 2 might work depending on what you are doing for a spring pack or AAL.
