Hey all, new to TacomaWorld, but not new to Toyota. Have owned 10 Toyota vehicles in my life, and 6 weeks ago, I purchased a brand new 2014 Tacoma TRD Off Road. Yesterday, I noticed that both of the tail lamp lenses were cracked from...the inside. I haven't backed it into anything and there is nothing to suggest they were hit by someone. The only thing I can think of is, I have to drive down a dirt road a few times a week and it gets pretty rough and wash boarded out. Since it is the Off Road, the suspension is very stiff. Do you guys think this could be a factor in the lenses cracking from the inside? I'm wanting to get some research done on this before I take it to the dealership and try to fight with them about it. Thanks in advance!

Don't fight... it is under warranty. Never happened to my Tacomas and I off road a lot.

Yup, the advantage of buying new is the 3yr/36k bumper-to-bumper. Just bring it back to the dealership and them fix.

Cracked from the inside definitely screams defect to me
