so im searching the market for a cai n idk if i want to get the Injen cai with power flow or the urd TCAI, the kit for the Injen cost around 386.76 dollars where as the TCAI cost 289.00 or 489.00 with the MAF Calbrator. so my question is is the extra 101 worth it??? n will i need a MAF cal if i get the Injen??? also it say's on the website that the injen is tuned ready so idk if i need to tune it??? but probably will if i do get it XD to me im mostly leaning towards Injen because my 2000 honda civic ek is using it n its awesome ^__^ thanks for all ur replys XD

If you have to choose between those two, I would choose the Injen.

But you are better off getting the TRD, AFE, or K&N. The URD cai has a poor design.

MAF Cali will benefit all Intakes. It is the best most economic way to tune, Unless you can afford the X-1.

I like URD. Just chickened out on the install, and did not want to relocate the MAF sensor.

I agree with TRD and AFE. I now have Volant, and no issues accept it will need a tune:cool:

I disagree, my MAF accuracy is almost perfect (in many cases more accurate then AFE or TRD because of some slight modding - smoothing of the transitions at the end of the tube).

While it is prone to heat soak, that's the down side to an open filter. Cruising IAT are within 3°F of ambient.

As of this posting, I have the fastest MPH in the 1/4 for any supercharged XR (second fastest for 1GR to the best of my knowledge behind a twin turbo'd XR), and that is done with the K&N intake.
