    lowered poorly by previous owner
I have a 2002 tacoma which was lowered by the previous owner. I bought it knowing little about suspension and lowering. seems they did not replace the control arms. Ie my suspension is blowing out bushings, cv joints, and tie rods with a vengence and the wheels are cambered with no more room for adjustment to align correctly. How the hell (can you hear my frustration?) do I tell what control arms this thing needs? Do I need to replace anything else?

Are you wanting to put it back to stock height?

I am assuming 6 lug and 4 wheel drive as you stated that it is blowing CV Joints. Wow why would you lower a 4X4 Truck...

I would replace everything that is suspect, back to OEM Stock or better. Hard to say without knowing what they did to it to lower it...

Some pictures of what you have may help. Post em up. I'm sure some of the resident suspension experts will chime in.

Note I am no suspension expert.

I used to see a guy locally that had a 1 ton Chevy, crew cab, 8 foot bed, dual rear wheels, that was lowered so far he dragged it going over speed bumps.
