Anyone know how long or the standard duration of a clutch in an 09 Tacoma, i have almost 75k on it, got it at 74**, it appears the clutch is soft and I have to press it all the way to the floor.. Is there a way to tighten it without replacing ? Also has anyone replaced theirs and how much does it cost?

Not really sure what you mean by "press it all the way to the floor", but the clutch in my truck feels like driving a car, which I would think it would feel really light. Do you think the clutch is slipping under acceleration?

I will rephrase that... My clutch goes to the floor really easy , my other truck I had to press really hard to engage the clutch . Just wondering if tacoma is notorious for clutch problems or wearing out prematurely ?

Might need to add fluid. Prior owner might have been hard on the clutch, too.
