So I am a techie guy electrician by trade always been involve in installation of stereo in vehicle. Also security and remote starts.
I got my truck so I can load things in it along carrying my tools.
Sometimes I wonder if that was the right truck that I could of get. With all these fine technology. I think there is a few things missing from my "Toy".
I will be following post and be making post as time goes on and I invite any private messages and questions from any one.

Welcome to Tacoma World! Hope you love your truck as much we most people here do. You came to the right place, bud, and it sounds like you won't have any trouble performing any mods  I have always wanted a remote start.

I've seen the kits before. The only one I saw was this big bulky, 1980's looking FOB you had to carry around on your key ring. No thanks. Lol. If I did get it done, I would want it to be like factory. Normal small FOB. I will research it and keep you in mind.
