Hi guys. My truck has a broken wire on the Mass air flow sensor plug. It broke off right at the plug. Does anyone know where I can get a new plug or a way to repair the old one?
    Thanks.
This is my D.D. I need it running asap

Find one at a junkyard, cut it off with wire left over. Solder wires in with heat shrink tubing. Done and Done:bananadance:

Looking... no one has any tacomas. called the dealership. they said they sell the plug with no wires and the wires separately for $18 a piece? Plus they have to order them. I'm calling every place I can find. No one has any wrecked tacos.

If the plug you can get from the dealer has the crimp on connectors for the wires that would be the easiest thing. You just strip every wire, crimp on the little connector, and push it into the plug. Just do them one at a time so you don't get it confused.
    or...
you technically just need that one little crimp on connector for the wire that broke. You'll just have to get a dental pick to get the plug to release it. They've usually got a little plastic "catch" inside them that will allow them to turn the crimp loose. Just be careful to not break it. Take said crimp connector to dealer to find a match. You MIGHT find one at the local parts house but that's a long shot.

GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!! There was a little rubber insert in the plug. I removed it and could see the broken wire inside. I put a drop of solder in the plug and soldered the wire then heated the wire to connect to the plug. DONE!!! runs like a champ again. hanks for your replys guys!

Glad you got it going. That's what I love about Toyotas. When you need to you can fix them with Duct Tape and Bailing wire.
