    Sup Guys,
Recently purchased a 2014 TRD sport tacoma. This is my first truck and will be my first lift. Excuse the stupid questions that I might ask.

As far as lift kits I'm lookin at a 3" toyotec lift kit. My taco I believe already comes with Bilstein 5100 shocks, so I guess my first question is what are all of the necessary components (aside from shocks), that I need for a full 3" lift? Should I just get everything toyotec?
Also can anyone recommend a good website to get these parts at a good price?

I don't know much about my life that I put on my 08 tacoma but I do know that it is a 3" suspension and I put 33s on and my tires rub so if you're looking for bigger tires too I'd look into spacers as well. :)

Spacers probably won't help. Your gonna have todo a cab mount chop and some trimming.

Nah, I have 33s on my truck with no trimming and no spacers.. I have adjustable 5100s up front and 2" AAL in the rear. Its the width of the 285/75 that causes all of the rubbing issues. my 255s will tuck in just fine with no issues and I didn't lose the gas mileage on my little 4banger.

You just have to go the 255/85/16 or 255/80/17 route. If you are patient and hunt around you can find them at a good deal. Keep in mind that prolly no tire shop will have them in stock so you will either have to order them online or through a tire place.

My Maxxis bighorn 255/85/16 ran me about 170 a piece

When I got the toyos at les Schwab they trimmed it up some and it didn't rub unless I had someone really heavy in the front passenger seat, but then when I bought Cooper discoverers they rub every time I back up with the drivers side turned in....
