Ford Dealer Techs Abuse Mustang While Knowingly Being Recorded.

take video to an attorney, play said video, lawyer starts salivating profusely, tells owner of said vehicle he will take the case without any up front money because he knows this is a slam dunk win..

attorney sends letter to dealership and Ford Corporate just prior to filing with the courts...dealership shits big time in their collective corporate pants, Ford Corporate becomes involved...meanwhile, somehow a copy of the vid becomes available to local stations, it goes viral shortly thereafter nationally...

trust me, the problem will be solved..customer will win this one, but it will take some time, more than likely new vehicle, and sums of money will be coming to customer and lawyer who filed suit..

I would have had a hard time not going ballistic at the dealership, probably a good thing for customer for lawsuit success...

dealership out of business, probably pulled by Ford Corporate.

There is the legal issue of unwarranted video/audio recording... Not so cut and dry. Not to mention the dealer probably can afford better lawyers. It’s a shame, but unless he can get a scare and convince them to settle out of court, the legal system won't help much here.

His best bet is to go to his local news and try to get his video on national news.

 

Well the dealership is now offering to buy the car at retail price and the guy can keep his aftermarket parts. Fair but so much time wasted and lose of owner's enjoyment of car.

Crazy how social media is working in the owners favor so well. Good for him. It's alway good to see the little guy win.

Please expand on this statement...the video camera was in plain view and had the record light blinking during the 'drive', even the mechanics involved acknowledged this ...it is not illegal to have one in your car, the police are using this to record, and I am sure in many traffic cases this type of video is accepted, even encouraged to settle who did what....

I do not think it was unwarranted since the camera was in plain view, and, frankly speaking, if more people had this device in their cars/homes, there would be more truth in this world....businesses use this all the time with surveillance cameras placed all over the place, even cities are using them to control traffic and in many cases identifying suspects, I refer you to the video surveillance that was used for the Boston Marathon bombers identification...

Acceptance is becoming more widespread...I am sure without a doubt that the video would settle these unscrupulous acts on someone else's property....

No, I am not an attorney, just my opinion...

The dealer was/is a dirtbag, he has been exposed and got what was coming to him...
