    New member. Second Taco.

First one was a stick and I hurt my lower back before I could mod it and could no longer drive a stick without left leg cramping and hurting.

This one 2014 Silver Sky DCSB TRD Off Road 4x4. :D

Looking around to do some mods to make camping easier.

Light off roading for the most part but want it to look good also.

Looking at SOS bolt on sliders, Avid Light bar front, and Prinsu roof rack.

1 - Need to be able to pack the world for my wife. Weekend camping trip means I only have to find a way to take 6 weeks of what ifs.

2 - Snow from November to April means sliders and light bar give some bump protection especially when parking anywhere with others.

Not sure if you're looking for tents like this but I've seen them used on Tacos a lot, they look pretty handy.

I have SOS weld on sliders. Solid product at a good price. Eddy is great to deal with. I think you would be good to go with those. I have a leer cap which let's me pack lots of stuff and keep it out of the weather and somewhat secure.

TY I like the SOS bolt-ons. They look solid for bolt-ons.

I am reluctant to get too heavy of a cap. Aren't the heavy?

I am looking at travel trailers and the ones I like are all around 3000 lbs. After adding gear and clothes for the trip I bet I can ring up another 500 to 700 pounds. Add water and I am close to 4000 pounds. All that is going to add up on those rear springs. Nice looking truck BTW.

Thanks, the cap isnt too heavy, not sure exact weight but 2 people can handle it fairly easy. So I cant imagine it being more than 100 to 150 lbs depending on options.
