I bought a 4 banger with flowmaster dual exhaust and intake. I hate how loud my truck is, it wakes up my roommates and neighbors every morning. I got a quote for $230 to replace it with a stock exhaust. What kind of perfromance loss will i get? is that a good price? Should I be able to sell the flomaster for some price?
    Any information would be appreciated!

Chances are you would see any loss in performance ..... Now if you had some sort of high flow intake , fuel chip or retune , and the exhaust you may have something to lose but still not that much....I have a flowmaster muffler on mine and never noticed anything after install with a K&N filter.....I only did it to increase air flow as factory mufflers are very restrictive thus hold in more heat....I have since gone back to a paper filter after doing some reading ....still no loss ...but never gained anything either.......I saved my factory muffler as when my flowmaster rusts thru ..I wont be getting another ....may try something else ..but most likely the stocker is going back on.
