The dividers are plexiglass from Home Depot, painted black. The upper part is corrugated plastic cardboard from Home Depot, also painted black. This is covered with Harmony Silent Traction Pads, which you can get from harmonygear.com. The TRD emblem is from ebay, and the magnets are from Michaels--you need extra strong magnets to hold a decent pocket knife. I got the elastic from a local fabric store, but I had to sew it into a band and also had to sew the loops for holding pens, chapstick, etc.

Lexan would probably be better...it was difficult to cut the plastic cardboard to a precise shape because of the corrugations

That's the nicest console organizer I've seen so far. I made my own a while back but I just went out to the truck and threw it away after I saw yours.

Great job brother! Looking forward to the write up. :)

Nice. I've worked both plexi and lexan. Lexan is a bit pricier but much easier to work with than plexi.

you'll make it as long as you studied. I did my CPA and my Insurance CPCU by notes taken during coursework and immersing my self just prior to exams. 72 hour memory retention curve! I dropped out of school at 16 because it bored me. I retired in 2004 at 43.

Thanks OP for the materials list.
It was one more example of why I should stop reading this forum. I'm looking all over the web for black plastic when I should be working.

Now I have to go to Home Depot, thanks a lot man.:D:woot::woot:
