Question about trans coolers. So my 2012 Tacoma came with the tow package which included the supplemental trans cooler. But in 90 degree weather my trans is still hitting 190degrees, according to my scan gauge. I want to start towing a travel trailer, but the temp will be even higher. Has anyone added another trans cooler inline of the factory installed one?

You may want to check your fluid level to make sure it's on spec. Make sure you use the "transmission fluid level check procedure" that you can search up on this forum, it's pretty specific since there's no dipstick on these transmissions. Mine hit 198 the other day going up a long hill, towing nothing. It never goes above 110 in winter, seems to be around 160-190 all summer. Don't forget the temp rockets up under load because the TT is right on the outlet of the torque converter where the fluid gets heated quickly under load just before hitting the transmission cooler. So the fluid doesn't stay that hot very long at all.
