I have been using this and other forums to give me an idea on how to fix a p0200 code on my 99 Tacoma Prerunner. It was frustrating because when it was cold and first started, it would run fine. But if I stopped at a store and went to restart the vehicle, it would start missing and kick out a p0200 code. After reading a number of forums, I came across several instances where others were having the same puzzling things happening. For the most part the culprit was a leaking injector which leaked gas into the cylinder while it was sitting after being recently driven. When you would start the warmed up vehicle, the computer would detect too much fuel in the cylinder and starve the injector, which caused the number 2 cylinder to miss. I replaced the injector and the problem was solved.
